"Breakfast at TIFANY’S"

Hello there, thank you for waiting. I’m David.
Well, I’ll introduce “Breakfast at TIFANY’S”, Audrey Hepburn movie.
Today’s phrase is this one!!

He’s absolutely cuckoo for me.

Audrey, as Holly Golightly, said this phrase. I want you to look at the word, “cuckoo”.
This word means a bird. You know Japanese call this bird “KAKKO”.
“KAKKO” is named after his voice, KAKKO. The same is English “cuckoo”.
Japanese and westerner are brothers, aren’t they? haha
And “cuckoo” means crazy or silly too. It is this meaning that time.
In other words, He’s absolutely crazy for me.

Who dose she think she is? haha

I’m really cuckoo for Audrey.

P.S.
I didn’t miss what she said French.
Et pourquoi pas?
It means, “And why not?”

I know this is a good lesson for you.
Let’s use these phrase from now!!
